About the Event

On May 13, 2026, the 18th China International Battery Fair (CIBF 2026), organized by the China Industrial Association of Power Sources, opened at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (Bao'an). Running through May 15, the three-day event spans approximately 280,000 square meters and brings together over 3,000 companies from across the global battery value chain, expecting to host more than 350,000 professional visitors. Exhibits cover the full lithium battery supply chain — cathode and anode materials, separators, electrolytes, cells, packs, BMS, energy storage systems and testing equipment — making CIBF one of the largest and most influential lithium battery trade shows in the world.

Highlight 1 · Truck-Start BMS

DALY's Truck-Start BMS is a dedicated product line for heavy-duty trucks, commercial vehicles and marine starting applications. The fifth-generation Truck-Start BMS on display at CIBF 2026 drew strong interest from visitors. Three differentiators stand out:

• Extreme cold-start performance — Equipped with a supercapacitor buffer bank, the BMS reliably starts diesel engines at temperatures as low as -30°C, addressing a long-standing pain point for fleet operators in cold-climate regions.
• Remote one-key boost start — Built-in 4G communication and GPS positioning allow fleet managers to trigger a boost start remotely via mobile app, without requiring the driver to be on-site. This is particularly valuable for logistics fleets and vehicle rental operators.
• Vehicle tracking and security — Five-mode positioning (GPS / BeiDou / Wi-Fi / LBS / AGPS), combined with dry-contact outputs, enables remote vehicle lockout for enhanced asset security.

The Truck-Start BMS is designed to meet the growing reliability demands of lithium retrofit applications in heavy trucks, parking AC, and marine propulsion — all of which require sustained high inrush current capability.

Highlight 2 · New-Generation Smart BMS

DALY's new-generation Smart BMS is the latest iteration of the company's flagship intelligent BMS line, with system-level upgrades targeting compact applications such as e-mobility, portable energy storage and low-speed EVs. Key highlights include:

• Significantly reduced footprint — Approximately 40% smaller than the previous generation, enabling more flexible PACK layouts and easier integration into compact battery packs.
• Multi-chemistry one-tap switching — Supports LFP, NCM and LTO chemistries with battery type parameters switchable directly via the DALY app. Sodium-ion (Na+) variants are also available on a custom basis, allowing battery manufacturers to standardize on a single BMS across multiple product lines.
• Rich communication interfaces — Multiple communication ports plus a built-in Bluetooth module enable seamless integration with the DALY app, host-computer software and the DALY Cloud platform for remote parameter management and alarm monitoring.
• Wide temperature range — Expanded operating temperature range covers everything from cold-climate winters to tropical environments.

Alongside the two highlight products, DALY also showcased its home energy storage BMS, high-current BMS, active balancing BMS, software BMS, active balancing modules, smart chargers, as well as accessories including GPS modules, Bluetooth displays and Bluetooth switches — together forming a complete BMS ecosystem covering e-mobility, energy storage and commercial vehicle applications.
