DALY (Dongguan Daly Electronics Co., Ltd.), a global manufacturer of battery management systems (BMS), today announced that its BMS-S Series and matching charger have been named Professional Finalists in the 2026 International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA), presented by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) — placing the products among this year’s top industrial designs worldwide.
Established in 1980 and presented annually by IDSA, IDEA is one of the world’s longest-running and most prestigious industrial design programs, now in its 45th year and beyond. Entries from around the globe are reviewed by a jury of leading design experts and judged on criteria including innovation, user experience, design strategy, and social impact. Being selected as a Professional Finalist places DALY’s design among the field’s most recognized work.

The finalist BMS-S Series embodies DALY’s “Aesthetics Meets Quality” design philosophy, pairing high-performance battery protection with a refined form. A red housing with an integrated cooling fan balances safety, thermal efficiency, and industrial aesthetics, while the matching charger’s red-and-black contrast and honeycomb grid create a distinctive, high-tech visual language. Together they reflect DALY’s ongoing commitment to design-led product development.
