DALY’S new smart BMS versions of H, K, M, and S are automatically activated when charging and discharging for the first time. Take the K board as an example for demonstration. Insert the cable into the plug, align the pinholes and confirm that the insertion is correct. If the status indicator next to the plug flashes light, it indicates that DALY smart BMS has been activated.
If the BMS enters a dormant state because it has not been used for a long time, it can be awakened in 4 ways: Key Switch Activation, Button Activation, Communications Activation, and Charge-discharge Activation.
Operations about Communications Activation: First open the PC software, click on Communication Settings, adjust the baud rate to 250, and then click to turn on CAN. Observe that the communication status shows a progress bar, and the cell voltage parameters are being refreshed normally, and then observe that the BMS status indicator light flashes, indicating that the protection board has been awakened.
Operations about charge-discharge activation: Press the power button to output the charging current, observe that the communication status shows a progress bar, the cell voltage parameters are being refreshed normally, and then observe that the BMS status indicator light flashes, indicating that the protection board has been awakened.
Key Switch Activation and Button Activation involve customized software, so it is inconvenient to demonstrate.If the BMS is activated or still cannot be used after waking up, it is recommended to contact our relevant customer service.
